Vanilla Buttercream Frosting- Small Batch. Ever wanted a recipe for vanilla buttercream for cookies but want just the right amount of frosting. Introducing small batch perfect for 2 dozen cookies. I whipped up a batch to top my favorite Pumpkin Snickerdoodle cookies (on the blog) and this was a crowd pleaser. Silky, fluffy, slightly sweet and holds shape for the perfect frosting to top cookies, cupcakes or whatever your heart desires. Enjoy!

 8 T butter- softened
 2 cups powdered sugar- sifted
 1 T milk- or more if needed
 1/2 t vanilla

Soften butter in microwave- about 20-30 seconds.

Sift 2 cups of powdered sugar using a sifter over a large bowl.

In a bowl, using a hand mixer or electric stand mixer, beat softened butter until light and fluffy for about 1 minute. Add powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined. Spread over your favorite product and enjoy!

Stores best in the fridge for up to 3 days.
