 1T evoo
 1 shallot- diced
 2T fresh garlic- minced
 28oz can crushed tomatoes
 14.5oz can chicken broth
 1/2 cup heavy cream
 1/2 cup fresh basil- chopped
 salt and pepper to taste

In a medium sauce pan on medium heat, sauté evoo, shallot and garlic for a few minutes until the shallot is translucent.

Add the crushed tomatoes and chicken broth and reduce to low. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Add heavy cream and basil until warm. Add salt and pepper to taste and extra basil for topping. Enjoy!
