 1/2 Yellow onion- diced
 1/4 cup Fresh garlic- minced
 24 oz Jarred pasta sauce
 2- 28oz Canned crushed tomatoes
1.5 lbs Ground beef- 85/15 is ok
1 lb- about 5 links Italian Sausage
 15-20 Frozen meatballs
 1 tbsp EVOO
 2 tbsp Oregano- dried
2 tbsp Crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup Fresh basil- or 2T if using dried basil
To serve:
 2 lbs Noodles
1 cup Fresh grated Parmesan cheese
1

In a large fry pan, brown ground beef until completely cooked through. Drain and set aside.

2

In a preheated oven to 425, cook Italian sausage for 12-15 minutes on a baking sheet. The sausage should be fully cooked. Slice into 1/2 inch pieces.

3

In a large sauce pan on the stove, heat to medium heat. Add EVOO, onion and garlic and saute until lightly browned and translucent. Turn heat down to low/simmer. Add drained ground beef and stir well. Add pasta sauce, crushed tomatoes (do not drain) and herbs. Once well mixed, simmer for a few minutes. Add frozen meatballs and fully cooked and sliced Italian sausage.

4

Simmer fully mixed ingredients for 30-60 minutes or until ready to serve.

5

To serve: serve over your favorite noodles, zucchini noodles, spaghetti squash or even a mix of them. My favorite it to mix zucchini noodles with regular spaghetti noodles to add more vegetables. Sprinkle over freshly grated Parmesan cheese and enjoy!

6

The sauce keeps very well in the fridge for up to 5 days so this recipe is perfect for meal prep or serving a large crowd and kids! Reheat in the microwave or over the stove.
